We are now looking for a Field Sales Representative for the markets in Denmark, Norway, and Iceland.

Kanthal develops and delivers heating elements, components, and complex systems to demanding industries such as automotive, aerospace, defense, energy, glass, and metal industries. For their Nordic division (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland), we are now seeking a Technical Sales Representative who wants to contribute to industrial innovation. With their competent employees and groundbreaking technology, they support some of the world's most exciting and extensive projects.

Your Role

As part of Kanthal's sales team, in close collaboration with their production unit in Hallstahammar, you will play a key role in developing their business by providing technical and commercial support to Kanthal's customers.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and partners through regular customer visits, building trust and ensuring their needs are met.

Identify customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions in close collaboration with internal departments.

Identify and drive new business opportunities within your area of responsibility through active market engagement and contribute to the commercial strategy.

Conduct customer visits, presentations, and negotiations, manage requests for proposals, and negotiate pricing terms.

Be responsible for the entire sales process – from technical advice to financial follow-up and final business – including contract management and follow-up.

Report market insights and results to management and contribute to forecasts and strategic planning.

About You

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or thermal engineering.

You have at least five years of relevant experience, preferably from furnace manufacturers or suppliers of thermal equipment.

Experience in an international environment is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of the Office suite.

You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English. Knowledge of Norwegian and Danish is a plus.

In addition to your technical expertise, you are energetic, curious, and genuinely interested in building long-term relationships. You are communicative, attentive, and adapt to different target groups. You work independently, take initiative, and are driven by achieving results, while also collaborating well with cross-functional teams.

You have a positive attitude, are solution-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A driver's license (B) is required.

Location and Work Setup

You can be based in places such as Västerås, Stockholm, Linköping, Gothenburg, or Malmö.

You need to be able to travel regularly to Hallstahammar where the rest of the team is located. The work can be performed remotely to some extent when you are not traveling, except for international trips where physical presence is required.

Travel is included in the position (approximately 30%).
